Dual Diaphragm drivers
Dual diaphragm drivers can be found at high end audiophile quality headphones. They normally have separate large (for example 40mm) bass diaphragm and smaller (for example 24mm) mid – high diaphragm. The advantage of such configuration is that at high sound pressure level, the mid and high would not be overshadowed by the strong bass. The overall sound signature is well balanced with solid bass, clear mid-high, outstanding vocal projection and supreme soundstage.

Titanium Drivers
What is the benefit of Titanium Drivers vs normal dynamic drivers? Think of Titanium Drivers as premium version of dynamic drivers. Compared with normal dynamic drivers that used mylar diaphragms to generate sound, Titanium Drivers have special titanium metal coating on the diaphragm surfaces which make them stronger. The effect can lower total harmonic distortion of the diaphragm surface at high sound pressure level and produce more accurate sound.

Dynamic Drivers
Dynamic drivers are the most common type of headphones/ earphones drivers. They work like miniature loudspeakers and produce sound by using the movements of the driver diaphragms to move air. Normal dynamic drivers are especially good at reproducing sound at low frequencies.

Tips to enhance sound quality – AT NO COST!
Most of us nowadays listen to music from portable music players like iPhone/Android phones/iPad/iPod/MP3 players and the music files are stored in compressed digital format audio files. There are a lot of different compressed digital audio file formats but the way how the original music (CD) is imported (the compression technology) will greatly affect the sound quality you get. For example, if you import audio CD content into your PC/Mac’s iTunes library (check under Edit, then Preference, then General, the Import Settings), the default import setting is:
Import using: AAC Encoder
Setting: iTunes Plus
Actually, you can greatly improve the sound quality if you import CD using either AIFF or Apple Lossless. Change the import setting to:
Import using: AIFF Encoder
Setting: Automatic
Or
Import using: Apple Lossless Encoder Setting: Automatic
Note if you only use iDevices (iPhone/iPad/iPod), then you can try Apple Lossless. However, if you have different platform music devices, then AIFF will be more commonly supported. But AIFF will take up huge storage space.
